Hey guys! I've added a blog section to the website for the purpose of sharing insightful articles, inspirational stories or really anything that might help parents and students stay motivated on their musical journey. I want us to foster a nurturing community in the studio where we can share ideas, helpful hints and get to know everyone a bit better so please feel free to share and post yourself. I'll also be posting more information about the Suzuki method so you can get to know the philosophy a little better. I know there can be hard times when you have a child learning an instrument so sometimes it helps to be reminded of why we want our child to learn and remember all the benefits they will receive.

I recently returned from Suzuki Professional Development, which I attend every year, and they delivered a parent's lecture on this very topic. The lecturer asked what qualities we saw in students who learnt an instrument through the Suzuki method and after a short brainstorm we came up with many answers which I thought I would share with you.

Here's a picture of all our answers...have you seen any similar qualities developing in your child as they learn?...
