  Instruments

These are all the instruments I offer lessons for. My studio also includes programs such as string ensembles, group lessons and duets between students, so that they can experience the social aspect that music can have and enjoy playing with fellow musicians.

Also on offer is theory/musicianship lessons which are essentially learning about the concepts of music and are generally suited to students who have been exposed to music before and already have a basic understanding of rhythm and pitch. Students will learn these in their instrumental tuition.

Violin

The violin is a beautiful instrument and is a wonderful choice for young children just starting out. The posture and fine motor skills needed to play this instrument come more naturally when you have started younger, but it can still be an instrument for any age, it is never too late to start learning!

Viola

The Viola is a slight variant on the violin, having a larger body and a deeper tone. This instrument is for budding string players who want to stand out from the crowd.

Piano

Playing the piano is such a useful skill to have in life and brings pleasure to many. Whether you want to learn classically, learn how to play pop songs or even accompany sing alongs, this is a great instrument to start on and I would reccomment it to anyone.

Guitar

There are many different styles of guitar playing but all of them require a measure of skill in both lead (playing the melody) and rhythm (strumming the chords).

The guitar can be a very fun instrument to learn and it is very adaptable.

Vocal

Singing is another pastime that brings joy into our lives and it seems like everywhere we go there is singing!

If you've ever wanted to learn how to hold those notes longer, be able to sing those trills and riffs or just want to learn how to deliver a good performance on stage then singing is the way to go.
